Garlic Pita Chips
- 3 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
- 3 pita bread rounds, cut into triangular-shaped chips
Dip
- 1 cup greek yogurt
- 1 lemon, zested
- ½ lemon, juiced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
- 8 oz store-bought hummus
- 1 cup small-diced Roma tomatoes
- 1 cup small-diced cucumber
- 1 cup sliced kalamata olives
- 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 cup small-diced pickled red onions
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the chips: In a medium microwave-safe bowl, heat the butter in the microwave until melted. Add 1 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder and stir until well combined. Add the pita bread and toss until evenly coated. Arrange in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool completely.
- Make the dip: In a medium bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and ½ teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder until well combined.
- Spread the hummus evenly in a 4x8-inch baking dish. Top with the yogurt mixture. Sprinkle the tomatoes evenly over the yogurt mixture, then layer the cucumber, olives, feta cheese, and pickled red onions over the top.
- Serve with the pita chips.
